What better way than to spend my 41st birthday than at the Retro Computer Museum Open Day.

Thanks and congratulations Andy et al.

Highlight of the the day - explaining to a twenty something how to the high jump in Track and Field.

Lowlight of the day - Could not find a rubber keyed speccy.

All I can say about todays event is that you are really going to struggle to top that next time !

Many thanks to Andy, Linda and everyone else who contributed to make everything so enjoyable. Great variety of machines, loads of good games, food exceptional as always and as for the arcade room - wow !!! (even though the pinball and House of the Dead did relieve me of a few quid between them..)

What a brilliant day - hope you made loads of money for RCM !!!!

Got back about 10 minutes ago (thanks to Rinoa & Blackpanther for the lift there and back @ short notice) and have to hand it to the team - what a day.  Soooo many people to talk to that I knew and so many others that I've only met the one time before (plus loads of new faces).

Great turnout (the best amount of people through the doors, easily) and lots of fun.  Even I managed to get past round 1 of the Bomberman competition .. that was a shock!

Had a great day and enjoyed talking to so many of you. It was amazing to see how many people turned up to it, and it just shows
how well RCM are doing. The layout and systems on offer to play were superb and also the Bomberman competition.

Finally back home and agree that the event was great, lots of faces and tons to do. Was great to see people enjoy the arcade machines as I rarely get to see people actually playing on them. As always a great selection of machines to play on and the XBox Tank control panel was just an amazing bit of kit.

It's been a great day.
I got back about an hour and a half ago .... been playing with my Beeb & MMBeeb for a bit .... well impressed.

As usual, there was a great selection of hardware and games. It was also loads better with us all wearing name badges, as I was able to track down people who I know but have only met once (and hence can hardly remember what they look like .... Sorry )

I'm really looking forward to the next RCM event or maybe even a 'members only' meetup sometime.

Thankyou to everyone I spoke to and I think a big shout out should go to Linda & Andy (& the rest of the RCM team) as they layed on another decent event.

Great to meet some people again, and some people for the first time. Great day, nice to see my 13 yr old son and 16 yr old nephew enjoyed the day.

It's been a fantastic day today with the sounds of a amusement arcade place & so many people there.

I think the atmosphere this weekend was just perfect, I'm still feeling the buzz.

I thought the layout of the tables and the way the machines were mixed up a bit was great, the arcade room was fantastic, and again seeing the beeb with SID chip, still makes me go wtf!

The refreshments were spot on, I think I managed to try almost all of them (couldn't quite bring myself to try two jackets spuds with the different toppings)    Made especially amazing as it was all wheat & gluten free!

Phu - After seeing the secret project I can't wait to see it working.

@Quagmire - if you think you can handle another spanking - 'bring it on' 

And to everyone who attended - thank you for making the event into what we all dream't it would be
