W.I.P on my a600/1200 (a1800)
« on: October 08, 2008, 11:30:49 AM »
hi all

i have put my A1200 main board in to my A600 case. so now i have an A600 with ks 3.1, EC020@14mhz, 2mb chip ram, AGA, dvd -rw and a 1gb cf card hdd. But thi is not enough i want to put a blizzard 030@50mhz card with 32 mb of fast ram, Now theres not much room left inside the case (andy RCM will tell you he has seen this open) some things got to go to make room.

this pic is befor the dvd rom is in there

So after thinking about the 030 card im going to take out the floppy drive and place the blizzard card there and the slot where the floppy's go will be for the cf card and in the end usb ports in time.

So work has started on extending the expansion port so i can fit this in. This is why i need some ide leads..

Heres some pics and i wiould like feedback on this as i dont think this has been done

the card in the pic is not the blizzard 030 its a none working apollo 040

thanks james

I've got to admit, that's a nice machine.
I was impressed when I saw it at the RCM open day, and I was even more impressed when I was talking to you about it.
It's one cool machine!
