Keyboard Membrane

(1/1)

linux_geek:
Ok, have figured out, after a bit of footering about, that the keyboard on my Amiga 600, isn't quite working! Read that as the complete bottom row, and also the qwerty row (the complete rows not half), including the enter key!. I have tried trimming a couple of 'whiskers' from the ribbon connector to see if that helped, but nope, no joy!
How do you check a membrane? Is it just a case of using a continuioty tester, and making sure that there is a circuit between each pad (on the same track)? Can it be repaired, or will I have to hunt for a spare machine to salvage the keyboard?
