Had a fantastic time, thanks to all and of course a huge thanks to Andy.

Also, many thanks to Witchfinder who gave the 1541 drive to Woody and of course to you Woody for bringing it along for me.

A great selection of systems/games to play and was able to boot up some of the titles I haven't played in ages (Mr. Puniverse - c16) & Stunt Car Racer - Amiga 1500).

To StarshipUK, thanks for the info re: Ultimate 1541, I'm now officially on the hunt.

Chinese was great and the snacks/drinks were plentiful - ditto on the Muffins!

Venue, totally loved it - like some kind of Manhattan conversion, would def like a loft space like that. Hope we can have more there?

Probably the best video game played was driving home! - They'd shut the motorway junction i needed and ended up driving around twisty unlit country roads that went on and on.

I've been out all day so haven't had chance to sort out the photos yet but I'll post a link a little later on. I don't think I have that many this time. A certain photo depicting excessive joystick waggling might have to be photoshop'd though. Certainly not one for the kids.

Wasn't sure what the in-jokes were regarding Lemmings, but the guy on the piano (sorry didn't catch you're name), can't half belt out a good tune.

I think the Lemmings thing might have been mentioned by me in reference to the Console Combat event.

At Console Combat there was a member of Public (nothing to do with with the console combat event) who got very drunk in the pub, so was thrown out and then went to the pub next door, the other side of the shallow muddy river/canal. For some reason from the pub next door he then decided to jump into the canal and he broke his leg - hence me reffereing to this as Human/Real Life Lemmings.

I have one more question which Andy might know or be able to find out. Do you know the name of the band that was playing/practising in the room during the event? They sounded quite good and I wondered if they had made a CD yet or perhaps have a website?

Thanks everyone for making it a cracking event, I'm still buzzing  ;D

I loved the layout, to go from the main room with two projectors to the side rooms with cabs and tasty kit was really sweet.

I personally also got a real kick from watching so many people just enjoying playing on the games of the past, brings back so many memories!

Huge thanks to Andy & Linda all the effort really made the day/night!
