Hi All,

I would just like to say what a great time I had on Saturday. The venue and layout, with the sofas and projectors, made it feel like a giant living room, but as with all the retro events it’s the people and kit on show that make the days special. My highlights were the PC Engine, the Dreamcast shooters, the arcade cabs, the nifty 1541 cartridge and the machines running through the studio speakers. I would also like to thank Andy & Linda for arranging the event and everybody else who helped.

I'm on holiday using a mobile connection... and Vodashyte has decided flickr.com is full of porn.

Unfortunately, because their systems weren't written by AndyRCM, the remove mechanism is broken. So I can't get at your pics :(

The remove option was also 'broken' when I was away 2 weeks ago. Rubbish vodafone.... Cant complain as work pays my mobile broadband!  :) I say broadband, but its mainly GPRS  >:(

Aha... one sneaky proxy installed on my servers at home, and Vodafone Content Control is bypassed. flickr'ing now :)

AndyT... if you want access to the anti-voda proxy, let me know, and I'll set up an account and PM you the details :)

I wish I thought about the proxy before I left - doh! My server at home does run squid, but its not published to the outside world. Will enable it the next time I away and require 'special' internet access  ;D (Password protected of course, before anyone gets any bright ideas!)

I could have VPN'd into the office, but the connection was so...... damn...... sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww...........
