I'm from UK. I have what appears to be a jupiter ace 4000. From a bit of googling, the 4000 was intended for the US market, and has a video out in addition to the TV out. Mine has a UK TV out but no video connection and inside it has a series 2 ACE PCB. There is a hole where the video RCA would be but it's part blocked by the TV modulator.
I have seen a 4000 on UK ebay and zooming in on the photo's it looks the same as mine.
Can anyone help with identifying this? Is is a UK 4000, a series 2 inside a 4000 case intentionally created by cantab for the UK market or has someone just put an ACE pcb into a 4000 case?
Our Jupiter Ace 4000 at the museum and from what I have 'read' - ours is pretty much the same as yours - towards the end of the company being around they had cases lying around for the 4000 but only had 'normal' Ace motherboards? Ours is even boxed in a 4000 box but inside it is still only a normal Ace.
