A Kryoflux courtesy of Christian Barstch.  Good bloke to chat to too about the old days of XCopy and his various trips to Anguila as a nipper when he was working for Cachet after school.  All because he sent in a list of 'how to copy game X using these parameters' and Cachet hired him.

Several sites to choose from:
a) Word Toolbox Add-In - for any power Word user
b) My old hacking stuff of yore
c) Preserving old photographic slides found at car boots!

The Kryoflux is a great piece of kit. I was using it to backup some Apple ][ disks the other day.

An Apple ][ Super Serial card. I've been after one for a while for use with ADTPro... can't wait for this thing to make it's arduous journey across the pond.

Did you get it from the states ?

That was the only place I found one, great bit of kit  🙂 makes disk image writing a doddle to do  🙂

Yeah. I had enough of a problem finding one there. If I'd waited to get one from the UK I could be old(er) and grey(er) before one turned up for sale.

Does that run off a floppy card or does it have it's own interface ? as my IIe has floppy card + drives but my II europlus has no cards at all....it doesn't even have a top case, and I had to make a PS/2 keyboard interface for it as it's own keyboard was knackered 🙁

Cheers.

Phill.

Its a standalone interface with its own ROM code and on board RAM for loading the images into etc.... very slick - not cheap though.

Please do. It's an evil b'stard.

We have the floppies. We have the PDFs.

Unfortunately, we also have a crash dump 🙁

A non-working 5.25" caddy with a non-working DVD-Writer.  Why?  Caddy will be used purely for hosting drives for my Kryoflux and the DVD-Writer will be stripped back to bits and the lens used (once I work out how to attach it to a magnetic ring) on the back of my phone as a super-duper macro lens 🙂  At 99p + delivery, it was worth.

Some C64 original disks (more targets for my Kryoflux) - almost forgot about the auction as was in the middle of a fight in Fallout 3.  Got there with 13 seconds to spare 🙂
