Hi i'm James
Live in Leicester and was super excited to find out that this place existed, especially on my door step.
Found out about the place through a video about the mythical Amiga CD1200.
Intend to come and visit this saturday!!
Greetings,
My name is David and I'm a retro computer addict.
I have several old systems and emulations ranging from calculators to mini computer parts.
I hear you are having a DEC event this weekend. Can anybody give me more details please.
Kind regards, David.
Hi David,
Welcome to the forums . . . One of our volunteers Andy C. has organised a mini meet up of DEC owners for Sunday. The owners machines will be on display in our chill out area.

Hi David
We open at 11.00am but will be around from 10.00am onwards. We have ample parking at the RCM HQ mate so no worries there. 🙂
Some nice kit there! 😉
Cheers

Hello I`m Mark,
I have been interested in the Amiga since about 1988 and used to visit the shop on the industrial estate where the Museum is based.
I live in Melton Mowbray not to far away and might pay a visit next week.
I have a few Amigas such as A500,A1200s one of which is towered with a 060/ppc 233 grex voodoo and an A1xe.
I also like stripping, cleaning, upgrading pcs then running Linux on them.
Welcome Mark - nice Amiga 1200 you have there - wouldn't mind seeing that running! 😉

I'm George, live in Leicester, and come to RCM every now and again. I'm interested in many things, but mainly C64, Amiga, and older Unix machines (can't beat a game of Buzzsaw though). This forum seems pretty slow at the minute (where doesn't) but hopefully activity will pick up again.
Replying to an 11-year-old post isn't the same without a good *bump* 😛
I wonder why?
Welcome George! Yeah - let us get the forums back up and as busy as they ever were! 😉

I missed this thread when I first signed up. I posted a separate introduction here, I hope that's okay!
It's nice to be part of such a friendly looking forum.
I'm a newbie, be easy on me please!
