Well finally connected my Raspberry Pi up and problems already  :-[

Don't know if I need a beefier power supply (was powering off wires laptop), but it boots to log in then as soon as I connect the keyboard it crashes  :-[

If I try to boot with KB attached it stops with a kernal error  🙁

One thing to mention was the display was very clear and rock solid through HDMI  🙂

It really does need a beefier PSU.  I'm using my Kindle one at the moment.  Can't remember what amps it needs but it's more than a USB port can really supply (especially if you're then using the USB ports on the Pi itself).

Cheers...

I read that on the sheet that came in the box.

I used a Sony Ericsson charger from my LiveView 🙂

Think it needs 700+ 1000ma recommended I think I read!!

My iPhone/iPad usb charger seems to play nicely with my Pi too.

You need a 1A PSU at least. Or attach keyboard, mouse etc via a powered USB hub.
