The Ravenstone is where the guys (and gal) from OCM stayed and they gave it rave reviews.
Several sites to choose from:
a) Word Toolbox Add-In - for any power Word user
b) My old hacking stuff of yore
c) Preserving old photographic slides found at car boots!
Hillfield House - Swannington.
Lovely little place, Clean, Tidy, Cosy, and close to the venue.
Got a bolloking for not fetching key in morning, despite ringing and saying would be fetching in evening, lol ;D
But lovelly friendly, hosts, comfy bedding, and a nice brekkie.
Recommended.

Quite a few of us stayed at the Leicester Markfield Travelodge. About 10mins away.
Usual Travelodge thing.
It was cheap as well. Most people paid about £35 a few weeks before the event.
Taxi to from pub was £16 there and bizarrely £13 back
No breakfast, but who needs that with RCM bacon butties 🙂

Run by a friendly couple with a relaxing atmosphere.
We really liked the amusing Black Cat, sort of ' Lord of the Manor ' that wouldn't move when I was trying to reverse from my parking space, so I gently lifted him out of the way. He wasn't bothered and just returned a ' spaced out ' look ! 🙂 A memorable moment indeed ! 😉
A highly recommended place to stay.

Nice and cheap, Friendly owner, free wi-fi, clean and a great breakfast.
I would stay there again.

Was a bit like a Motel! The rooms looked new and were very clean. Was fairly cheap plus had plenty of parking, and free WiFi. The owner was pleasant and very helpful (I kept pestering him for take-away and taxi info :P). Also, as Mark said, Breakfast was great. Was only a couple of minutes away from the event, so pretty cheap in taxi fares 🙂
Would definitely stay there again if there was another Weekender.

As already said, clean and friendly. Maybe not one if you don't like cats though!
Breakfast was good if a little on the small side, but I'm a fairly big eater.
Will be looking at Stopping there again.
