Aims

At Swannington Pre-School Playgroup we aim to enable each child to fulfill their potential as laid down
within the framework and Principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage [EYFS].

Because ‘Every Child Matters’ we aim to provide high quality activities that are age appropriate and that
continually enable every individual child to make progress towards their six areas of Learning and Development.

Through observation, assessments and forward planning, we continually aim to create a caring, fun and
safe, enabling environment in which quality learning through play can take place.

We aim to ensure that each child is included, valued, and effort, achievement and success are fully recognized.

We also aim to work effectively in partnership with both parents and carers; creating and building positive
relationships that will have a beneficial impact on their child’s development and learning.
