Playgroup runs from 9.15am till 12.15pm Monday to Fridays during school term times only.
Our current rate per session is £8.00.
The Treasurer will send you a bill at the beginning of each half term and swift payment is preferable.
Non payment may result in your child losing their place.
Children over the age of three are entitled to 5 free 3 hour sessions per week, funded by Leicestershire County Council
under their Nursery Education Funding scheme (NEF). The eligibility starts the first full term after their third birthday
(provided your child is registered with our playgroup within the first two weeks of a new term) e.g.
A child born between 01/04 and 31/08 receives funding from the Autumn term following their third birthday.
A child born between 01/09 and 31/12 receives funding from the spring term following their third birthday.
A child born between 01/01 and 31/03 receives funding from the summer term following their third birthday.
If your child has Special Educational Needs, additional funding can be applied for to provide One-on-One care.
If you wish for your child to receive the Nursery Education Funding when they are eligible you will be required to
complete an Undertaking, stating the number of sessions you require us to claim for, any other provider that your child
attends, and provide documentation demonstrating proof of age e.g. birth certificate, medical card or passport.
If you choose not to use your child’s funding entitlement with us, all playgroup sessions will be charged at the rate that
would have been received from County Hall.
