9.15am: Upon entry to playgroup the children are free to explore a variety of activities i.e. painting, role play, craft,
water or sand play, physical play, books, mark making etc. All activities are planned to encourage learning and
development, building on the individual child’s interests.
Fresh drinking water is available throughout the morning should any of the children become thirsty.
10.30am: Snack time. Milk, water and a variety of healthy option foods are on offer for the children to choose from.
They can if they prefer bring their own drink with them; No fizzy drinks please.
11.30/45 am approx: The children will now explore a variety of gross motor skill equipment such as the climbing frame,
obstacle courses, throwing and catching games etc.
12 o’clock approx. till 12.15pm: The children will now enjoy song time or story time that takes into account their needs
and interests.
